Gregory Gardner, DO, is a board-certified family practice physician and founder of Texas Medical Institute, where compassionate care meets a multidisciplinary approach to healing. With a focus on patient-centered treatment and exceptional clinical outcomes, Dr. Gardner leads a dedicated team of chiropractors, therapists, and medical staff who share his commitment to excellence.
A graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with highest honors in biology and a minor in chemistry, Dr. Gardner went on to earn his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 1990 on a full U.S. Air Force scholarship. He proudly served five years in the military, including roles at Eglin AFB in Florida and as a flight surgeon at Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, Texas.
Returning to Fort Worth in 1998, Dr. Gardner worked as a full-time emergency physician before establishing Texas Medical Institute in 2008. His clinic specializes in family medicine, workers’ compensation, and physical rehabilitation.
Dr. Gardner is certified as both a designated and treating doctor by the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation, and the U.S. Department of Labor.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Gardner enjoys reading, outdoors, and spending time with his family. He and his wife Lydia, an Arizona native, have five children—including a set of twins—and eight grandchildren.
